    About the Canary Islands & Fuerteventura


    The Canary Islands in the Atlantic ocean is an archipelago of  7 islands that belong to Spain. The Canaries are considered by many surfers as the Hawaii of the Atlantic. Fuerteventura is the island closest to the Sahara’s desert. This island enjoys lovely temperatures all year round, offering visitors an untouched world, with long white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise water and the charm of immense deserted landscapes sprinkled by volcanos and dunes.

    The landscape in the Northeast coast of Fuerteventura presents immense white sandy beaches and water of unthinkable colors. In the North coast, the visitor will come across with the braveness of the Atlantic ocean,  reef breaks will make the delight of surfers. In fact, there are some of the best surf spot all over Europe. In the Northwest coast of Fuerteventura you could enjoy wild and hidden beaches among cliffs, as Esquinzo and El Cotillo beach to name a couple. The south of the island is famous by its nice beaches and the wind top conditions to practice kitesurf  and windsurf, as a matter of fact, every year in August, one stage of the kitesurf world championship takes place in Playas de Sotavento.

    Corralejo & Surroundings


    Corralejo is on the North coast of Fuerteventura, where our Spanish & surf school is located. Corralejo is considered a top destination in Europe for surfing, coupled with amazing conditions for surfing and with a coastline that has loads of breaks for surfers at all levels. A charmy fisherman’s village, where local people and travelers from half of the world meet, looking for a slow pace of life or a well-deserved break!

    The beauty of Corralejo bay, scattered with  tiny white houses and the turquoise blue color of the water. The bay is surrounded by sandy dunes, by which is known as the natural park of the dunes of Corralejo. Besides its natural beauty. Corralejo still holds plenty of treasures to offer the visitor, old town streets harbor a unique marine essence, with charmy little restaurants where to sit and enjoy a fresh fish in front of the ocean. There are also plenty of stylish surf bars where to meet and relax in a fresh atmosphere, a perfect place to get to know new people and share experiences!

    Corralejo, in the unspoiled island of Fuerteventura, is out of the question, an  ideal destination for unforgettable holidays!.
